Hi,  My name is Ed Smith.  I live on top of Gaffney Hill in Williams Township, Pennsylvania, with my wife Sue, and three daughters Daisy, Sabrina, and Holly.  Our mission is happiness. 

Gaffney Hill Enterprises, LLC was established in 2002 when things really looked bad with my ‘comfortable’ Corporate America employment.  Although very successful with my career, corporations were swinging the ax carelessly and exponentially.  I never did lose my job with Corporate America, however it woke me up to the fact that it could happen at anytime.  All of us should have something to fall back on, if not a full fledged operation at least the plan.  Gaffney Hill Enterprises is part of my plan.  The plan for livelihood and the plan for happiness.  

Today my business is small and not sorted out yet, although pieces are coming together.  I expect that one day I will need, or maybe just desire, to execute the plan, and leave the Corporate America thing behind me.  I dedicate this site to the entrepreneurs like me  All that are on this site, are businesses that have demonstrated the qualities that are required to be “good-people”. 

GHE is about businesses of entrepreneurs who want to provide a better product and service than the mass production methods of large corporations.
